The book begins with a strange visitor to Jim's father's General Benbow Inn, Bill, the first mate of Flint's pirate ship. This old pirate has stolen Flint's treasure map, and the General Benbow Inn has been ruined by pirates looking for it. Then Jim stepped forward, and after a great deal of trouble he opened Bill's chest and found the map, and with Dr Livesey, Squire Trelawney, and Captain Smollett, bought the HispanIola and set sail for it. On board, Jim and Silver engage in a thrilling battle of wits. The old pirate Silver is very treacherous, in the ship desperately recruit sailors and his accomplices, attempting to murder Jim and others. As luck would have it, their scheming was overheard by Jim, who, together with the captain, the doctor and other partners, crushed Silver's plot. After landing on Treasure Island, they ran into Ben, a Flint pirate sailor who had dug up the treasure. Gunn. They let Ben. Gunn returns home for Yuwa Ben. Gunn fought the pirates together. Finally, under the wise command of the captain, in flying legs Ben. With the help of Gunn's knowledge of the terrain and Jim's resourcefulness and bravery, Jim and his men sailed back with the treasure.
