朱永祥In "The Time Machine," the Time Traveller encounters the Palace of Green Porcelain during his journey into the future. The palace is described as an ornate structure, situated on a hillside and adorned with green porcelain and precious stones. The Time Traveller initially finds the Palace intriguing and refers to it as a "kind of museum." He observes that it represents a decayed and abandoned civilization, a remnant of a past era. However, as he explores further, he becomes increasingly aware of a sense of danger and impending doom associated with the palace. Inside the palace, the Time Traveller discovers that the Eloi, the surface-dwelling human-like creatures he encounters in the future, fear and avoid the palace. He notices a well-like structure in the center of the palace that connects to underground tunnels, which he later realizes are inhabited by the Morlocks, a subterranean species that preys on the Eloi.

The story ends with the Time Traveller stating his intention to venture into time again and explore further. However, he leaves without providing any concrete details or evidence of his subsequent journeys or ultimate fate.
