时间机器书评

The Time Machine is the first science fiction novel written by H. Jo Wells, a famous British novelist in the 19th century. When I saw the name of the book, I thought that the time machine was a machine that controlled time, but after reading the book, I realized that the so-called time machine was a machine that shuttled through time. The book tells the story of a "time traveler" who invented a machine that could travel through time and space, and the scientist used this machine to come to the Earth more than 800,000 years later, at that time, human beings were divided into two races, respectively: weak, ignorant, lazy, indifferent, and hedonistic daytime race; Strong, brutal, underground, adapted to the dark night race. The race is as vulnerable as the porcelain beauty by day, and they are the meal of the race by night. The night race is a strong cannibal, whenever night falls to catch the day race people as food, but finally because of changes in the environment, both races are extinct. The author of this book compares the rich in society to the day race that will evolve, and the poor in society to the night race that will evolve. Through this story, he reflects the shortcomings and contradictions of the wealth gap between capitalists and laborers in his society. He is afraid that human beings will kill each other in the future society, similar to the tragic outcome of "man eats man", and expresses his yearning for a communist society where people live an equal, friendly and harmonious life. As a member of the human race, but also as the hope of the future development of society, I should study hard, enrich the brain, exercise the body, strengthen the limbs, love labor, purify the environment, and avoid becoming a person who is intellectually and physically degraded and subject to exploitation like the daytime race.
