陈玉英In 2000, the William Gates Foundation merged with the Gates Learning Foundation to form the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. In 2006, the Foundation established a separate trust to handle the Fund's assets. The Foundation also reorganized itself, creating Global Development, Global Health, and Native American Programs. The Department of Global Development identifies and funds programs that help lift large numbers of poor people out of poverty and hunger and help the world's poor live better lives. The Department of Global Health is committed to bringing together science and technology to help save the lives of those most in need in developing countries by providing effective medical tools, developing affordable and reliable treatments, and innovating in the field of health. The Native American Programs Division focuses on improving secondary education in the United States and preparing high school graduates for college. Social equity and poverty issues in Washington State are also areas of focus for the Division. In 2012, the Foundation added a new Global Policies and Advocacy Department, which is dedicated to building strategic relationships with other countries, communities, and individuals to advance philanthropy policies and promote philanthropy in America and around the world.

黄日凤The primary goals of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation are: 1. Accelerating the development of innovative products, tools, and solutions to reduce inequalities in health and development areas. 2. Promoting the adoption and scaling of these innovative solutions globally, ensuring that they reach those who need them most. 3. Establishing new partnerships to address pressing global challenges such as vaccine access, pandemic preparedness, and child health. 4. Supporting research, policy advocacy, and programs that improve health outcomes and reduce poverty, especially in developing countries. The foundation's global reach and significant financial resources enable it to pursue these goals on a large scale, making significant contributions to global development efforts.
