有感于《中国人的精神》

During the winter vacation, I read gu hongming's the spirit of Chinese people, which inspired me to think a lot and benefited me a lot.Mr. A gives a very profound introduction to Confucian culture from a traditional perspective and explains what the Chinese spirit is.
Mr. A first explained what Confucianism was, which, like western religions, established a set of moral norms for the society and passed on in the form of rites.Lao gu believed that Confucianism advocated moral cultivation in the same way as western religions in many forms, but Confucianism did not rise to the belief and worship of the founder, while people who believe in Christianity are bound to worship Jesus, and people who believe in Islam are bound to worship Mohammed.So Confucianism is ultimately an idea, not a religion, but a substitute for a religion.
This book explains the Chinese spirit through "Chinese spirit", "Chinese woman", "Chinese language", "John in China", "a great Sinologist" and "sinology".Through many examples and comparisons, Lao gu deeply analyzed the Chinese spirit.

It is not difficult to see the shortcomings of this book, which advocated the idea of loyalty to the monarch, as well as a concubine system and the maintenance of "three-inch golden lotus".From the perspective of culture, Lao gu explained how Confucianism maintained the world for 3,000 years, and also pointed out the ignorant loyalty to the monarch and gender issues.
But in general, Lao gu's book is excellent and worth learning, so as to carry forward the Chinese spirit. As a Chinese in the new era, we should learn from the book and try to be a deep, broad, simple and sensitive person.
