Grace Darling' main elements are: the sea there are many faces. Sometimes it calm mild - as the pool-like tranquility. Sometimes it wild, violent and dangerous. We embankment to resist the sea, yet the sea are washed away. We ship at sea, yet the sea, they split into two parts, broken toys as a child. When the sea is exposed when their ferocious side, it is like a wild beast, preoccupied with killing. Of course, you are not afraid of the sea. You're safe on land, warm and dry. But if you're in the rough sea in a boat, his face is splashed from the sea, ears are kept roaring wind, that is not the case. For us, it is easy to do not be afraid; it's just a "Grace Darling" only. But for the Grace Darling, this is not a story. It is very true, cold and wild night, that night she and the sea fight, there is no fear.

Daniel Donovan was a passenger on the For farshire. He stood on the deck of the ship, and looked at the sea. It was difficult to stand on the deck, because the wind was so strong. The ship was moving up and down uncomfortably and Daniel felt ill. Then a big wave hit the side of the ship, and salt water flew into his face.
