  At last, let's see what have happened in Buck.Buck is a dog who used to live in Judge Miller's down in the sun-kissed Santa Clara valley. Whereas,he was kidnapped and sold to North soon. In the meantime,he was abused and he began to understand the law of club and his potential was aroused gradually.

  When he arrived at the primitive North where people rushed for gold and fortune,he was acquired by Perrault and Francois to obtain new skills to pull a sled and at last he killed Spitze and become a lead dog.

  All seemed to be in a peace,but in this time Buck and his mates were taken over by a Scotch half breed. Shortly after that,they were bought by three silly and ignorant men. Then,Buck made up his mind to refuse to move under the rain of heavier blows because he sensed disaster close at hand. In this moment,Thornton came out suddenly and saved Buck.

  Buck got genuine passionate love from Thornton and during this period of time he recovered from injury. But good times don't last long,Thornton was killed by a herd of Yeehats afterwards hence Buck was angry brooding and mourning with the coming of that night. Then,Buck revenged for his beloved master and came alive to a stirring of the new life in the forest.
