Jane Eyre is also a novel with pleasant style, twists and turns, and excellent readability, from which we can not only experience the combination of Romanticism, realism and Gothic tradition, but also interpret it from various perspectives such as psychology, religion and image application. Its unique mode of creation has triggered many forms of following and reform, such as adaptation, continuation and transcendence. As well as portraying two fascinating protagonists, Jane Eyre also covers a wide range of times, such as boarding schools under the umbrella of the church, primogeniture, Creoles, a special ethnic group in the colonial West Indies, and the profession of governess, all of which are very historical and regional in detail. Thematically speaking, she brings a strong self-consciousness to the traditional English novels, which is embodied in the creation of Jane Eyre, a new female image. Her struggle in adversity and her tenacity in love have shown her spiritual temperament and strength which have greatly exceeded the construction and expectation of female image by tradition and reality.
