A Curel Wife

This book described a sad story. Dan, A private, who was wounded in the war so he can not do any heavy work. But his comrades clubbed together and fixed him up as a surler. He loved and trusted his wife very much so that he sent every penny he made to his wife. However, when Dan unfortunately died, his wife was even not willing to pay only seventy-five dollars for embalming her husband. For her, money is more valuable than her husband's life. It' s really sad. In my opinion, money will come and go, but life is only once. Therefore, we should not take money so serious.
