For the reason that this book is Children's literature,many expressions are partial to daily language,and there are some conversations to make this story alive so children are easy to understand. At the beginning of Chapter 1,Alice is described as a lovely,innocent little girl,for example,she was "half talking to herself and half asleep",and in the following content,Alice always talked to her kitten.Then she got through into the looking-grass and met the queen and the king.When the first chapter nearly ends,the description of Alice getting down stairs impressed me most,that it used many verbs like Kept,Float,Go straight out...etc.Via such a lively description,I can easily imagine the scenery how Alice get down stairs joyfully.
