Feelings after Reading The Great Gatsby This story is retelled from Nick's point of view, to observe, analyze and think from his point of view, to show us Gatsby's great points.This is not a story of truth, goodness and beauty, but it is true enough that even the truth that everyone in the story yearns for and pursues seems to be the truth that should be understood, including Gatsby. Gatsby is a great man. His greatness is that he has loved Daisy without scruple for many years. His heart is pure. Although Gatsby entered the upper class after many years of struggle, he was never motivated by money, power and honor, and his career was constructed to be closer to Daisy. Unfortunately, his life ended in tragedy, including his dream of love.
