At first, Alice met many soldiers stumbling in the forest. Then Alice took advantage of the confusion and came out of the forest into a clearing. Here she met the white king, who was writing something. Later, she talked to the king about something interesting. Then a messenger told the king that the lion and the unicorn were fighting for the crown, and the king invited Alice to come and see it. After a drastic fight, the lion and the unicorn stopped to rest. Alice gave them food but caused a quarrel.At this time, the drums suddenly sounded. She took the opportunity to jumped across the stream, and then put her hands over her ears, trying to shut out the dreadful uproar.
