This book makes me to understand the helplessness and pain of people at that time.What impresses me in this book is Carton, who is willing to die instead for his friend Darnay in order to survive. There is a poor girl who knows she is innocent but is willing to die. She said that if her death can make the poor happy,her death is worth it.I admire their courage.
