The Tough Guy

All characters written by Hemingway are Tough guy. The man who rides hourse is valorous. He won't give in the reality though he doesn't win the race. He is an old man but he is also a tough man. He is a model his son. The old man's death may hit his son so so much，but I think it's an essential lesson for him to learn how to live without the lovest one . The old man taking care of animals make me sad. He is fairly poor and old. But I find the biggest hit for him is not leaving animals or being hitted by the artillery，it's he loses his life's meaning . He don't know how to live without taking care of animals，which is the only thing he does in the life.
