Tess
画里有花
"Tess" is unexpectedly such a tragic story, the whole book
after reading, I am very sad, as a girl, to see a supposed innocent girl
was deeply hurt by the society, and finally went on a road of no return.
The tragic fate of Tess reflects the background of The Times: first,
economic poverty; Second, the unjust legal system; Third, hypocritical
religion; Fourth, the hypocritical morality of the bourgeoisie. Tess's
tragedy is the product of the society at that time, so Tess's tragedy is
also a social tragedy. Tess still has a reaction against injustice, but
the strength of this brief is not enough to support her in the dark
times keep innocence itself, I think, at that time, there are too many
girls live like Tess's miserable life, there are too many girls by the
concept of the inequality of male and female, until now, the idea of a
lot of places still so, this is one thing very annoys the girls, are
independent of individual freedom, why use colored glasses to see. I
think this book is worth exploring, studying the social context of the
time, studying human nature.
