Feeling after readin

李爱可
After reading a tale of two cities, I could not calm down for a long time. It never occurred to me that some of the sentences I had posted to Moments were actually from this book. "Don't try so hard, the best things come when you least expect them to." This sentence once inspired me when I was at a loss. When I read this book today, It is like meeting an old friend. It reminds me of a time that I once thought was very difficult. It also makes me feel the strength and courage it gave me at that time. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. It was the season of light, it was the season of darkness. It was the spring of hope and the winter of sorrow. The days I've spent on earth. People have everything in front of them, people have nothing in front of them; People are going straight to heaven; People are going straight to hell. In short, it was very much as it is now, and some of the loudest authorities insisted on the use of the superlative adjective. To say it is good is superlative; It's bad. It's superlative. It can only be evaluated in the most extreme terms. In our life, there are many things we don't want to do but have to do, this is responsibility; In life, there are many things we want to do but can't do, this is destiny. And a Tale of Two Cities also says, "To the world, You're alone. But to one person you may be the world." It does not remind me that Dickens wrote in another of his books, Great Expectations: "I loved her against all sense, against all restraint, against all self-control, against all hope, against all happiness, and doomed to all discouragement. But once I do, I can't help loving her no more." Such words, such resolute choice against all odds, are so moving
