This book talks about Chinese society structure，especially the Chinese rural society structure.

I come from the countryside ，so some plots I can feel true and similar deeply.

What gave me the first impression is that the author went aboard first time，

his manny  slipped something wrapped in a red paper to put it into his suitcases.

If he had trouble in getting accustomed to the new place，he could made some soup that from the red paper.

I remember my mother also gave a red paper  that some  black sugar put inside.She also told me 

that when you arrive at the school,the first thing to do is drinking local water mixed with the black sugar 

and putting  it into the soil.That could help you accustomed the new place. 

I think some traditions are preserved well.

Another  question made me think deeply is called renqing.It means that if someone help you，

you would better send him or her  some gifts or help as return.

I wonder to know if I can understand it as appreciation.If it can be understood like that,

I think maybe it is a quality of kindness .In our daily life.We can't always deal with something alone，

we need some help from others.If someone could be help me,we should be grateful.

Maybe we will help them next time.That can push the author society more harmonious and balanced.

This book，can help us understand some behaviors that  deeply root in our life .

Besides，it also analyses the structures and characteristics of the Chinese rural society，

which has a profound meanings and can give us some thinkings and experience.
