Little Prince

Book Report of Little Prince:

     The narrator crashed in the middle of the Sahara Desert, a thousand miles from any human habitation. There were no people in the desert except him. Only a few animals and plants could live there. It was dry, vast and windy. There were peaks of rock that were sharpened like needles. Unluckily, he had scarcely enough drinking water to last a week. He had an accident with his plane in the Desert of Sahara. What’s worse, something was broken in his engine but he had neither a mechanic nor any passengers, so he set himself to attempt the difficult repairs all alone. In the desert, he encountered the little prince who came from Asteroid B612 and found a well.

Methods of Rescuing the Narrator:

      In view of the tough environment and the vast area of the Sahara Desert, it is not a good idea to arrange too many rescue people and trained animals to the desert in the early stage. In order to improve the rescue efficiency, the best way is to use robots to come to rescue. First of all, take advantage of the geospatial locater to find the general location of the victim. Sensors can pick up the signal sent from the plane, which helps further determine the location. Meanwhile, use robots like Hummingbird or Fixed Wing to take photos from all angles and deliver relevant information to the rescue department. They will make a plan by piecing together the available information and take action quickly. Heat-resistant UAV can be used to carry relief necessities. Then dispatch a rescue team and medical team to the desert to rescue the victim. The victim will be taken to the nearest human habitation by plane.
