Reading report
Eliuak
Recently, I have finished reading a book called Educational Rambings
,which is the representative work of John Locke,a Materialist British
philosopher. Just as its name, this book mainly introduces diverse
aspects of children's education and discusses the process of developing
a person with a free personality. Today, I want to talk about this
book roughly from three angles. Firstly, I want to start with children's
physical education. As the saying goes, the body is the capital of the
revolution. So we are supposed to guide children to participate in
extracurricular activities actively to maintain a healthy
state.Secondly, children's psychological education, namely moral
education. As the author mentioned in the book,"we should pay more
attention to the shaping of children's minds and conduct early
education, which will affect their lives in the future." So we'd
better protect children's thirst for knowledge and curiosity. Last but
not least, when asked about the topic of education, the first thought of
the majority is knowledge. It's true that we can't teach without
knowledge. However, in the author's opinion, knowledge can't be the
shackle that imprisons children. Instead, knowledge can play an
auxiliary role in the process of educating children. And I think that's
why the author discusses this factor in the end. It is this book
that gives me a deeper understanding of education.
