Franklin was born in January 1706 into a poor family of small traders. He was forced to drop out of school several times to work as a handyman in a small shop. After that, he worked as an apprentice in his brother's printing factory, constantly learning and studying printing technology, and soon became the leader of the printing industry at that time. In addition to his hard work, he always had a strong desire to learn, and did everything possible to squeeze out all the time to read and buy books. In 1726 Franklin began an independent printing plant and prospered. He printed and distributed the influential Pennsylvania, which was a great success.
