我的小王子书评理解
黄贤霖
As described in the original book, "The Little Prince" goes
like this: If we do not travel through the world, we will not know what
is our spiritual and emotional sustenance. But once we travel through
the world, we find that we can never go back to the beautiful place.
When we begin to seek, we lose. And until we seek, we have no idea how
precious all around us are. What makes the desert so beautiful is that
it hides a spring somewhere." Perhaps we can simply interpret it
as: what makes life so beautiful is the sincerity and childlike
innocence that we hide. The Little Prince is a fairy tale, but not a
fairy tale in the ordinary sense. It is full of reflections on the state
of human life. It is a so-called "philosophical fairy tale".
"The Little Prince" was written by Saint-Exupery while he was
in exile in the United States after being demobilized. In a turbulent
time when war had destroyed many good beliefs, this book also contains
his rethinking of the value of human existence, the pursuit of material
things and the deluded mind. The book doesn't tell any big stories, it
doesn't even "talk" about anything, it's not about preaching.
Everything was contained in this picturesque story, in the stars, in the
desert, in the spring, in the little prince's laughter. It's as simple
and moving as truth.
