Do you believe in ghosts? Of course not. We like to talk about ghosts and tell stories about ghosts, but we don't really believe in ghosts... Isn't it? In 1880, an incredible thing happened at the Paris Opera: a dancer met a ghost in a dark corridor. He came across the wall to her with no eyes on his face; a worker saw a man in a black evening dress, but he had a dead head, a yellow face, and no nose; people heard voices in another room, but that room was empty. This is the ghost of the opera house... The ghost of the opera house is but a half-man, half-ghost, a poor man who can't see the light of day all day, and can't get other people's love.
