Love and Dreams
The Great Gatsby is my favorite novel. In my mind, it is even higher than The Little Prince. I got to know it for the first time when I was in junior high school, I saw the legendary life of its author Fitzgerald in a magazine, then I couldn't wait to buy it and began to read it. Now I have gone to college, after many years to read the English version again, it is a different feeling.
I especially love The Great Gatsby because its message will not change with The Times. This novel is far from a lame triangle, nor is it a poor boy's counterattack beyond imagination. It is a story about dreams. Life is precious, love price is higher; If it is a dream, both can be thrown. Just a dream, not all can come true. As the end of this novel puts it: So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.
