Dickens's classic novel is charming, funny and profound, easy to read and a lot of sense, like a good glass of wine, long lasting taste. The title of the book is Great Expectations, but it is actually a real and shattered fantasy. It is a gorgeous journey of the hero PIP, from the plain life in the foggy and swampy English countryside to the colorful life in the bustling city of London, and finally back to the countryside. This fantasy gives PIP a deeper understanding of life, and also gives us readers more feelings.
