Gulliver's Travels

To be honest, I am fond of this book on account of its ironic means of expression, which is a fictitious story to show athour's dissatisfaction with British colonization and party conflict and so forth.Gulliver's Travels tells some storys about his experiences in some countries.

At first,Gulliver was trapped in Lilliput during his voyage, the human race in there were afraid of him at first, but after quite a few days together, they gradually let their guard down and related well with him, especially the king. The other reaason is that Gulliver poses no threat to them. One day,he learned by chance that the country was facing threats from another country so he took all the other country's ships and weapons back, which solved the problem to Lilliput. Nevertheless, the king was willing to start a war and killed them all, which was refused by Gulliver. That is the reason why he was elbowed out by king and someone who already envied him. They even tried to blind him. How ungrateful they are! This story also taught me do not associate with such person. Finally,Gulliver ran away from here with another country's help and fail to trust them.

Gulliver decided to going on voyage after staying at home for a while. But unfortunately, he was captured by the giant and he always makes money with Gulliver, which made him tired and almost died. Luckily, he was brought by queen of this country and was taken good care of.The king once asked him some questions concerning the way works in the UK. But he did not appreciated about it and deemed that the administrators in UK can not run the country well. Three years later, he was carried out to sea by eagles and backed to his own country. This story tells us human race in British is cruel to other countries and some fo them are dishonest.

The following is that Gulliver was left alone on an island on account of something bad, in which he met some strange-looking people who are keen to math and be in an brown study. And then he visited Warmonger, the governor in there had the ability to summon ghost to know something is contrary to history books. Maybe this story satirizes spoon-feed--force students to learn a host of knowledge.

The last one is that Gulliver came Country of the houyhnms accidentally and was surprised to find that the governor in there are horses called houy, and the servants in there were someone who looked like folks. The governors were not only kind but also honest while the servants were fierce, which is a sarcasm. Gulliver was marred by their virtues gradually even did not want to return to the UK,but his wish can not come true.He went back to his country eventually and to be under houy's influence forever.

I was attracted by its interesting and intsructive.
