The Analects was compiled by the disciples of Confucius and his
disciples, and is one of the classic works of the Confucian school. The
Analects of Confucius is a collection of quotations from the words and
deeds of Confucius and his disciples, written in the early Warring
States period. It is a collection of 20 books and 492 chapters, mainly
in the form of discourses, supplemented by narratives, and reflects in a
more concentrated manner the political ideas, ethical thoughts, moral
concepts and educational principles of Confucius and the Confucian
school. The main feature of the work is that the language is concise and
easy to understand, while the meaning is far-reaching, and it has a
graceful and smooth style that is subtle and subtle.
