My feeling about it
22应英1班 罗姣美
After reading 'Eighty Days Around the Earth', I feel endless aftertaste.
Mr. Fogg spent a high price to travel around the world for a week, and
ultimately won the bet. Mr. Fogg is full of confidence, believing that
he will not be overwhelmed by difficulties and that he will definitely
be able to complete this task. His steadfast will made him not give up
halfway, persevering to the end, and his hope for victory was filled
with infinite pursuit. In fact, in daily life, we should also do
everything well with confidence and firm will, just like Fogg did. As
long as you put in sweat and effort, even if you fail, you will still
gain something. Everyone will encounter difficulties and setbacks, and
we must never be discouraged. We must remain calm and maintain a calm
mind to face it, and find good ways to solve it. In learning, it's not
always smooth sailing. We need to work hard, work hard, overcome
difficulties, and find good solutions. No matter when we are, we must
strive for every second, which is also the key to Mr. Fogg's success,
and so is everyone. A few short seconds can cause Fogg to lose his bet
and ruin his fortune overnight. How precious time is, wasting time is
equivalent to wasting life. After reading this book, I learned a truth:
no matter when we are, there are many difficult things to accomplish,
but there are no difficult things in the world, only those who have a
heart. As long as we use confidence as the ship and effort as the sail,
we can definitely reach the other shore of success.
