Affecting love between those l

The novel tells us a story happened in an area filled witn poor artists between three of them,Johnsy,Sue and Behrman,focusing on the efforts Sue and Behrman made for her,when Johnsy was seriosly ill with pneumonia.

   When Johnsy felt hopeless to her life and became merciless to everything around her,Sue was still by her side without any complaint or the fear of being infected.Old Behrman painted an ivy leaf to maintain Johnsy's life and even cost his own life during the process,though he satirized Johnsy's thoughts as a silly one at first.Both of them were just small potatoes struggling for living on the bottom of the society,while they could pay their love to their ill partner unselfishly,which moves me a lot.

 Ask ourselves.How many of us dare to say that him or her can be so kind to the others as the way Sue and Behrman treated Johnsy?Most of us are not in shortage of moner,whereas we are always hesitating when being asked to lend some money by those so-called friends.Compared with Old Behrman who used his own health and even life to save the life of a hopeless girl who had no bloody relationship witn him,shouldn't we feel ashamed?

  In my piont of view,the ivy leaf painted by Behrman was an undoubtable masterpiece,not becuase of its painting skills,but because of the love from one poor old artist living on the bottom of the society.
