Pitiful Nick
The story of Gatsby is shared with us by Nick ,the authour who is the only one stay with Gatsby at his funeral ceremony ,and who is an important part in this journey.He is the bound between Gatsby and Daisy.
Before Gatsby's death ,Nick had never imagined that the end of his cousin and Gatsby would be such terrible.In my view ,Nick is a kind person .When Gorden told everthing to him and delivered Gatsby's request , he did not answer "Yes" as quick as those people who attended Gatsby's party and woould to do whatever for Gatsby.He thought more about Daisy ,the charming and beautiful woman ,more important , the married woman.And he thought about Gatsby's real identity .After associating with Gatsby, he finally promised to invited Daisy to have tea in his home and asked nothing in return ,he thought it was a favor from friend, and i think because of Kattle to a degree .Once we have done something once ,there would be twice ,three times .Nick created many chances for Gatsby and Daisy , who fall in love again after 5 years .When Nick saw the happy smile on Daisy's face ,I guess Nick may think that he has done a good job .
Everthing seems to be better , though it is the silence before a storm .Gatsby wanted to marry with Daisy, so he put out all the thing to Tom ,and Tom told Gatsby's identity to everybody .Daisy coould not say that she has never loved Tom and she was surprised to see a Gatsby losing control. By coincidence , Wilson found Kattle was errant and Daisy crashed Kattle .All exploded at the same time .Nick and Jordan was shocked . Tom made Wilson believe that Gatsby drived the yellow car ,due to it ,Gatsby was shotted by Wilson and died.Daisy was frightened and she decided to move away with Tom .
At the end ,no one turn up at Gatsby's ceremony ,except reporters and Nick.Daisy even did not sent a punch of flower to Gatsby whose lastest sentence in the world was her name.After Gatsby's death ,NewYork was haunted for Nick.,His once golden shimmering mirage,now made him feel sick.
