What is love?

To be honest, this letter make me down. And I'm doubtful with the women's love - is it the real love? How can she be so blind with this man? did she enjoy her whole life? From where I stand, I believe love is out of equal and respect, and love will make us great and powerful, instead of lowly and weak.
