Li Shizhen, known as "medicine sage". He wrote the Compendium of Materia Medica (Compendium of Materia Medica), known as the "encyclopedia of ancient China", which made great contributions to Chinese medicine.
In the process of practicing medicine, one day he found that the old drug books only have a name of the drug, but no properties and effects, he decided to write a new drug book.
In order to write this medicine book, he is not afraid of cold, nor is he afraid of heat, and he travels through thousands of mountains and rivers, trying to find medicinal materials, and sometimes he does not go down the mountain in order to collect medicine. He visited thousands of doctors, learned from them what was not available in books, and risked his life to try various medicines himself. He did it because he wanted to do good for the people, to stop them from taking the wrong medicine and suffering from the disease.
Li Shizhen did not stop for a moment, and after more than twenty years of hard work, he finally finished the Compendium of Materia Medica.
This book let me learn Li Shizhen for the benefit of the people's spirit, as well as the spirit of perseverance. This spirit infected me, let me slowly become persistent.
