First, Yashi believes that "the idea of university gets its
motivation to carry out educational activities from the basic will of
mankind", and that "unity and integrity are the essence of
human will to seek knowledge". I take this argument because it
combines emotion and cognition from the deepest roots of human nature.
If we can combine cognitive activities with our emotional will in our
lifetime, we can reduce the waste of human resources and increase the
happiness of individuals and the wealth of human beings as a whole. In
other words, "We have to do what we like to do, to do what we are
good at." The second is Yashi's judgment on technological activity:
"All technical activity is based on a thoughtful will that seeks to
achieve a fuller human presence in this world." "I think
that's still something that everyone in modern science and technology
should keep in mind.
