Fact 1.Five score years ago,a great American,in whose symbolic shadow we stand today,signed the Emancipation Proclamation.

2.But one hundred years later,the Negro still is not free.

3.One hundred years later,the Negro is still languished in the corners of American society and finds himself an exile in his own land.

4.It is obvious today that America has defaulted on this promissory note,insofar as her citizens of color are concerned.

5.And there will be neither rest nor tranquility in America until the Negro is granted his citizenship rights.

Opinion 1.I am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the greatest demonstration for freedom in the history of our nation.

2.This momentous decree came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of Negro slaves who had been seared in the flames of withering injustice.

3.It came as a joyous daybreak to end the long night of their captivity.

4.Nineteen sixty-three is not an end,but a beginning.

5.The whirlwinds of revolt will continue to shake the foundations of our nation until the bright day of justice emerges.
