学校与社会 书评
School and Society is a book written by John Dewey, in which he argues that schools should be created as a "small society" that aims to provide students with a simplified and similar Xi environment. In this environment, Dewey emphasized three core points:
Schools should simplify complex social life and culture into parts and elements for students to learn and Xi absorb gradually, according to a certain purpose.
Schools should try their best to eliminate those worthless social elements, and only select the best parts of them to teach students, so as to create a purified and pure Xi environment.
Schools need to integrate and maintain all the necessary elements of social life and regulate them in order to create a Xi harmonious and balanced learning environment for students that is homogeneous with the real society, but more harmonious and balanced.
