Dubliners
陌梨
There are Dubliners in every city.Be a cold spectator, watch him rise
tall, watch him feast guests, watch his building collapse. Joyce is an
obvious outsider in this story. I have to admit that for me, who has no
religious faith, no interest in Irish history, and no roots in European
life, this book was quite difficult to read. It is far from enough to
read only once, and it is far from possible to peek into the author's
deep heart. In fifteen short stories, Joyce wrote about everything in
life. In fact, there are Dubliners not only in Dublin, but in every city.
