Reading "The Key Words of Chinese Culture," I was deeply
impressed by the profoundness and long history of Chinese culture. This
book not only provides a profound analysis of Chinese culture, but also
pays a heartfelt tribute to the five-thousand-year history and
civilization of the Chinese nation. Chinese culture, as one of the four
ancient civilizations in the world, is remarkable for its uniqueness and
richness. Through this book, I gained a deeper understanding of the core
values of Chinese culture, such as "benevolence, righteousness,
propriety, wisdom, and faith," which have permeated through the
historical development of the Chinese nation and become the spiritual
pillars of the Chinese people. Meanwhile, the book introduces many
representative elements of Chinese culture, including music, chess,
calligraphy, painting, the Four Great Inventions, and folk taboos, which
collectively contribute to the unique charm of Chinese culture. During
my reading, I was deeply struck by the inclusiveness and innovation of
Chinese culture. Chinese culture is capable of absorbing the essence of
foreign cultures while maintaining its uniqueness and independence. This
inclusiveness and innovation have enabled Chinese culture to grow and
expand throughout history, making it one of the most influential
cultures in the world. Furthermore, the book mentions the significance
and value of Chinese culture in modern society. In today's globalized
world, Chinese culture, as a unique cultural form, plays an important
role in preserving the diversity of world cultures and promoting
exchanges and integration between different cultures. At the same time,
many wisdoms and values in Chinese culture provide valuable insights for
