Before I read James Matthew Barry's Peter Pan, I first saw the movie, I
saw it many years ago. Peter Pan left the shadow in Wendy's house, when
he went back to find, naturally met Wendy, he promised to find a mother
for the children, so he took Wendy away, and Wendy's two brothers. The
elves sprinkled gold dust on the children, so that they, like the elves,
could fly up into the sky, and they flew out of the window, and followed
Peter Pan to Neverland. In this place, they play happily, no longer have
any trouble, however, pirates are secretly spying on them... It was many
years later that I began to read the original book, to understand Peter
Pan more deeply, including why he became Peter Pan, and his later story.
For me, this is a slightly sad story, no window is always open, the
original position will eventually be replaced, addicted to play Peter
Pan, will eventually forget the friends he once knew, and those people
as they grow up, forget that they can fly. Everyone does not want to
grow up, but they have to grow up, but Peter Pan is an exception. He is
like a dream hidden in the heart of every adult, although it is hidden
deeply, but always inadvertently awakened. Adults have a dream, too.
