The book has 850 pages of text, which is considered a big book, and the current progress of 500 pages, in addition to the story of the voyage, but also interspersed with something similar to popular science. The advantage is that this book is very close to "encyclopedia", in fact, a whole world of whales and navigation. The disadvantage is that the development of the story is always interrupted by the "explanation", although the novel has a sense of breathing, but the forced brake on the head of reading really made me gnash my teeth. The book begins with the protagonist staying in a hotel, and foreshadows about "death" all the way.
