读经济有感

The Chinese term "Jingji" (经济), often translated as
"economy," carries profound cultural connotations that
transcend its modern Western definition. Rooted in classical texts like
the Confucian Classics, it originally encapsulated the idea of
"managing the world to relieve suffering" (经世济民). This
holistic vision intertwined governance, ethics, and material well-being,
reflecting a philosophy where economic activity was inseparable from
moral responsibility and social harmony.
