Whenever you feel like criticizing any one,just remember that all the people in this world haven't had the advantages that you've had. Gatsby believed in the green light, the orgastic future that year by year recedes before us. It eluded us then, but that's no matter - tomorrow we will run faster, stretch out our arms farther... And one fine morning... This book perfectly illustrates the difference between love and obsession. The so-called obsession means the more you cannot obtain what you desire, the more you cannot let go. Perhaps there was indeed love when they first got together, but after five years, Daisy had long since let go of this relationship, married her current husband, and had children. However, Gatsby became more and more deeply trapped, and Daisy became his obsession.
