Rebirth in garden
用户869419
When I first read The Secrect Garden, actually,I didn't like Mary—a
sallow–faced, bad–tempered little girl, like a weed forgotten in the
corner. But when I finishing reading this book, I felt relieved for her
from the bottom of my heart. I was gald that she found that that rusty
key on the moor and opened a soul–healing garden. For Mary, the
secret garden was an opportunity for rebirth.Once, she could only scream
and complain, but when her fingertips touched the wet soil and the soft
sound of seeds breaking through the ground reached her ears, her solid
heart gradually softened. She learned to cut the rose branches and take
care of the seedlings. Then her brows slowly smoothed out, and her sallow
cheeks were having the glow of the sun. Those ignored flowers and plants
regained their vitality under her care, and she also shed her harshness
and coldness in her communication with the nature. This garden not
only healed Mary but also awakened the frail Colin. The two children,
once abandoned by the world, accompanied each other in the fragrance of
flowers and the singing of birds. The garden like a gentle wise man that
told them with ots vigorous vitality:Life is never defined, as long as
we hold hope, we can grow toward the sun. The Secret Garden has taught
me that everyone has a barren corner in their heart, and nature is the
best gardener. When we are worn out by life, we might as well step into
nature, feel the warmth of plants and trees. The prower hidden among the
flowers and leaves will quietly nourish our souls and make life bloom
with brilliance again.
