The Little Prince
周奥迪
The Little Prince is a sweet and meaningful book. It tells the story of
a little prince who travels from planet to planet, meeting all kinds of
funny and strange people—like a king who rules over nothing, and a man
who counts stars he doesn’t even own. What I love most is that the book
uses simple words to talk about big ideas, like love, friendship, and
what’s really important in life. The prince’s friendship with the fox is
especially touching; the fox teaches him that “what is essential is
invisible to the eye.” This book isn’t just for kids. Adults can also
learn a lot from it, because it reminds us not to forget the childlike
heart inside us. I think everyone should read The Little Prince—it’s a
short book, but it stays with you long after you finish reading it.
