Much love
彭宝奕
The Little Prince is more than a children's story. It is a book full of
quiet wisdom for anyone who has ever felt a little lost. A pilot,
crashed in the desert, meets a strange little boy from a tiny planet.
This boy, the Little Prince, tells simple stories about his journey. He
visits different planets and meets grown-ups who are very busy with
numbers, rules, and unimportant things. They have forgotten how to see
what is truly important. Through his eyes, we learn again. We learn
that the time you spend on someone makes them special, just like his one
special rose. We learn that what is essential is invisible to the eye;
you can only see clearly with your heart. His friendship with a fox
teaches us about love and responsibility. This book is sad and
beautiful. It makes you think about life, love, and loss. It reminds us
not to become like those busy, serious grown-ups. It asks us to keep a
child’s heart—to wonder at a sunset, to care for a single flower, and to
look at the stars and remember a friend. I give this book to my
friends. It is a small book, but its message is very, very big.
