As a phased achievement of the Chinese cultural terminology communication project, this book focuses on core cultural concepts before the Wei-Jin dynasties. It integrates Confucianism, Buddhism, Taoism and Western philosophy, and clearly sorts out the historical shifts of terms like Dao, rule of law and feudalism. Though I haven’t finished reading it yet, it already helps me distinguish confusing ancient and modern definitions, linking basic terms to the enduring spiritual pursuit of the Chinese nation. It is a practical introductory book for understanding traditional Chinese ideology.
