The story was introduded by a memoir of Dr. Watson, a surgeon who was the best friend of Mr. Sherlock. So it narrated in the first person by Dr. Watson but from the end at first, which meant that it told us this was the last problem of the most excellent detective at the very beginning, contributing to the sorrowful and depressive circumstances when reading. Then, it developed with a suprising visit from Mr. Sherlock, who were managing to free from killing. "I am by no means a nervous man. At the same time, it is stupidity rather than courage to refuse to recognize danger when it is close upon you." Mr. Sherlock was reasonable and he had a clear mind of his trouble so he decided to seek help from his reliable friend. After they succeeded to make a meeting, a profound conspiracy was surfaced. And the feature of this chapter did lie in the narration mode of the the plots. It added some background of the story by the memoirs of Mr. Sherlock in the dialogue between them. And it made some development by leaps and bounds in time and space. This shining point of plot made the structure of the narration become compact and clearly.
From what I have mentioned above, maybe you are sorry to think that this is the last case for Mr. Sherlock to deal with. In fact, the adventure with Mr. Sherlock and Dr. Watson is not ended. Now I am glad to share another story with you, and would you please lend your ears to me?
