Donkey
戈多leo
The author came to the mountainous town of Ledinaster by himself and traveled across the Saiwen Mountains with his donkey and pen. He chatted with the casual people all the way and slept in the starlight at night. As the author's journey progresses, the scenery in the mountains of southern France slowly unfolds before the current readers. The quiet and barren hills, simple and crude village inns, slow and enthusiastic farmers, hospitable hostesses and resolute and serious monks all jumped onto the paper under the author's pen. In the author's funny and slightly self-mocking tone, a difficult journey becomes interesting.
