Maintain Innocence

The Little Prince tries to lead the readers to explore the adults' world from a child's perspective. As a central character of the story, little prince represents the spiritual world of children. In his view, the relationships between people, people and things, and between things are direct and natural. It is his simple and unselfish inner world that enabled him to see the essence of things instead of being fooled by their appearances. As a result, he was able to see that the pilot's picture, which was drawn in his childhood, was about a boa constrictor devouring an elephant other than a hat while most adults' opinions were the opposite of his.

The little prince lived on a lonely and tiny planet and he had a deep affection for the only rose on the planet. However, as a result of being stabbed by the rose's conceit, he chose to leave. Along the way, he met all sorts of people: The King who was obsessed with power, the merchant who was obsessed with numbers, the lamp keeper who was bound by the system... When he reached the earth, he finally understood the true meaning of growth, only to find that the sky of him had been distant. At the end of the story, by using the venom of the snake, he released his exhausted soul and disappeared.

Throughout the book, the author uses many images to represent people and things in the real world. Among the many images, the one that impresses me most is the fox. The fox, like a wise man, gave directions to the little prince and said, "only with the heart can you see clearly. Substance is invisible to the eye." When the fox met the little prince, he asked the little prince to tame him and made the little prince understand the nature of life and the true meaning of love. And the establishment of a domestic relationship between the two of them let the little prince know that love is a kind of responsibility.

What the fox told the little prince is also what we need to learn. At the same time, we should also strive to be a wise like the fox in life. To have a clear goal and work hard for it, we must live with wisdom.

We all can't be the little prince, but we could have a pure heart like him. Don't be lost in the colorful world.

We can perceive from the words of the little prince that everything has its superficiality and authenticity. Most of the time, we only see the surface of things while ignoring the inherent benefits. The little prince remembered the words by the fox that only with the mind can see the nature of things clearly. What is really important is that the naked eye cannot see. So, he said that the stars are beautiful, because of a flower that cannot be seen. What makes the desert beautiful is that somewhere it hides a well. 

Please read the little prince, you will find that life is no longer depressed, boring, but the most important thing is that you have to put aside the secular vision and maintain innocence. No one will always stay in childhood, but we can keep pure childlike innocence forever.
