The first piece after reading

This week I read the Dubliners, finished the first chapter, and felt like a heavy story. The author tells the story from the first perspective. At the beginning of the story, I was told that my friend had passed away and he was a great influence on me. At first I didn't believe it and pretended not to hear about it, but I had to accept the sad thing. Every time I went into the shop, he would lie in his chair and my aunt would ask me to bring him a pack of premium snuff, a gift that would cheer him up. As we all know, he went to a better world and he left peacefully.
