Evelyn
The human nature in A Tale of Two Cities strikes me the most. Take Charles Dickens, for example, who gave up his status and possessions for his "sacred purpose", which is just as noble as Shahludoff in Resurrection. In order to save him into a prison that he knew was extremely dangerous, his noble spirit of "knowing the tigers in the mountains and turning to them" should be learned from us. He did not fear hardship, did not yield to evil forces, and risked his life to save others for the sake of truth. I really admire him.
