This book tells the story of Oliver, the abandoned baby of the rich man, who struggled in the orphan yard for nine years and was sent to the coffin shop owner as an apprentice. Unbearable hunger, poverty and insults forced him to flee to London and be forced to become a thief. He had been taken in by the rich Mr. Brown, and unfortunately he had been found to have been brought into the den of thieves. In order to rescue Oliver, the kind Nancy reported to Mr. Brown in spite of the surveillance and threat of the thief's head. Finally, Nancy was killed by the leader of the thief's nest, and the police immediately encircled and suppressed the thief's nest, and Oliver was finally reunited with his relatives. At the end of the story, the bad guys get the punishment they deserve, and the good people lead a happy life, except for poor Nancy, who is sorry for it.
